It is a dreary, raining and cold morning here. I am getting ready to make a cup of tea and start tatting since it is a long weekend and the laundry can wait until tomorrow as it is a holiday! But then I remembered I had a picture to post. January 2nd was my middle sister's birthday. Ever since she was little she loved the color purple. So for her birthday I decided I would make her a pair of tatted earrings and necklace using metal rings. I made them from Altin Baskin thread was a rich purple almost blue color. I wasn't sure if the necklace was going to turn out well but I have to say I am pretty happy with it. I think my sister was very happy with it too as she put in on as soon as it was unwrapped.

Just a note to say 'Hi' and to say I absolutely love the set you made your sister...my birthday is soon...in Feb. AND I love purple also...hint hint!!! lol Again, your tatting is awesome!
